monday, monday!

In a way, we’ve only had 4 days of class, but in a way, we only have 3 weeks left! I was almost late to school because I was busy trying to organize my payment for it. In the process, I accidentally left my wallet at home!
Our first lesson of the day was on grammar vs. fluency and which is more important in which part of the lesson. We also learned about how to use auxiliary (helping) verbs.
Then we had our third and final Czech lesson on ordering in a restaurant.
After that, I had a meeting with Jen, whose in charge of job placement. She looked over my resume with me and I agree with the changes she wants me to make. She was very supportive of the things that I’ve done and showing them off nicely.
For lunch, we went to the usual place and I had a quiche. Then we had time to plan our lessons. Steph and I “worked” on ours together, which mostly means we giggled. Then we watched a sample lesson by Geoff and then watched Mikaela’s upper-intermediate lesson. After that, I organized to have my one-on-one with a woman named Rosanne. Dalia had asked her and then taken back the invite so pawned her off to me. I didn’t mind because I’d wanted to ask her in the first place.
On the way home, I spotted a restaurant like fresh choice and decided I wanted it for dinner. I had to get my wallet first, obvio. I did have the salad buffet and some pasta and some nice meat. They had really good soft-serve sorbet. Then I went home to work on my paper due tomorrow and ended up working lots on my blog. Opah! I need to learn to post fewer pictures and I think I will make them smaller. Now I need to work on my lesson plan for the rest of the night and try not to stress about one-on-one!
